Breakfast Club Fall 2025
Is your hockey player looking for a way to gear up for the season and yet also enjoy his/her other fall sports? Our Breakfast Club Skates are a great way to hone skills while not cutting into precious time at night, often filled with other fun activities. We will hit the ice in the mornings before school starts and get our day off to a great start.
These sessions are open to both Mites and Squirts. We will split players into different groups as needed to appropriately account for their age and skill levels.
During these sessions we will work on a variety of skills, such as skating/edge work, shooting, stickhandling, and team play. We will also have fun along the way.
Ages
8U/Mite and 10U/Squirts will participate together. We appropriately separate hockey players based on their skill sets as needed, depending on the drill. It is expected that players are not completely new to skating and have some initial experience playing hockey.
All players are required to wear full hockey equipment.
When
6:20 - 7:20am every Thursday from September 4th through October 23rd.

Frequently Asked Questions
How will the practices be structured?
We will spend 3/4 of our time focused on skill development and 1/4 of our time scrimmaging, doing battle drills, and/or playing short sided games. Skating/edge work will be a key focus, as we layer on other crucial skills. Having fun will be layered throughout.
2025 - 2026 Season
To help our hockey players gear up for the season while enjoying other fall sports, our Breakfast Club Skates take place in the morning before school. These are currently open to Mites and Squirts, and we will cover a variety of skills such as edge work, stickhandling, shooting, and team play. These are an excellent way to gear up for the season.
